High Thiobarbiturate-Positive O Antigen of Escherichia coli

ABSTRACT

A degraded antigen containing a large amount of thiobarbiturate-reactive material, and distinguishable from the acetic acid-degraded polysaccharide antigen, was obtained by phenol extraction of a Boivin antigen.
