All Rights Reserved.): Expression of the flhDC gene (class I flagella) by uropathogenic Escherichia coli within superficial umbrella cells during acute cystitis as seen by laser scanning confocal fluorescent microscopy. flhDC gene expression was monitored by using a chromosomal flhDC promoter-green fluorescent protein fusion in the prototypic cystitis strain, UT189, at 16 h postinfection in C3H/HeN female mice.
