All Rights Reserved.): Large, mature spherule of Coccidioides posadasii containing hundreds of endospores within the passageway of a small bronchiole in a murine lung. Neutrophils surround the spherule, and below the airway epithelium on the bottom edge can be seen the lymphocytic cuffing that is common around bronchioles and vessels within coccidioidal lesions.
