An asterisk indicates when the mean fold change values were significantly different from values for resting cells by t test corrected for multiple testing (Benjamini-Hochberg) (P < 0.05). The effect of M. bovis strain is shown (repeated-measures analysis by GLM with subsequent Fisher's test). NS denotes that there was no significant strain-specific difference in mRNA levels by GLM. Daggers denote time points where there was a significant strain-specific difference in the average mean fold change identified by the time point and strain interaction (GLM with subsequent Fisher's test).
